Hello! I’m Lojain Hesham, and my story with drawing started a long, long time ago, maybe even when I was still discovering the world. Thank God, I felt a love for art and creativity inside me from a young age. And the one who illuminated my path in the beginning was Miss Mona; she was the one who started teaching me the fundamentals of drawing
What’s the most I benefited from her drawing course? It’s that I learned to play with colors more, to try different and new materials. For me, drawing isn’t just lines and colors; it’s a way to express myself, and even my mental well-being has improved a lot because of it. I’ve become better at getting what’s inside me out more easily
What’s the moment I feel the most proud while drawing? When I start coloring the canvas, it’s as if life begins to stir within it, as if it’s telling its story
And these aren’t all my talents; I also love writing and reading, and I know how to play the guitar. The reason I continue to learn drawing is that I want to develop myself further and discover new ways to express myself through drawing
I can use my drawing in many things, like jotting down my ideas in my planner in an artistic way, or expressing my feelings. And who inspired me the most? Definitely Miss Mona; she’s the one who encouraged me to continue and love drawing more
My advice to anyone my age who wants to learn to draw but feels they aren’t talented enough? If there’s something you love or want to continue with, start and learn, even if you fail a thousand times, the important thing is to get back up. Surely, a day will come when you’ll become something great from that thing you love. And there’s no such thing as “I’m not talented.” Each one of us has a talent in something different, but we need to discover it and develop it. And when you see the difference you reach, you’ll be very proud of yourself
In the future, I dream of becoming a fashion designer, and drawing helps me a lot in achieving this dream. And my final message to anyone who loves to learn drawing? Continue with whatever you’re doing and love, don’t let anyone stop you from your dream. All the hard work you put in will turn into something great you’ll be proud of. Try once, twice, and three times, and even if you fail, get back up and continue
